Okay, I ordered myself a set of Kongpowers new 2x3S to 6S balancing harness as found on this webpage; http://www.elefun.no/elefun4/aspx/produkter.aspx?vareID=10166&itemref=383&prod=Kong%20Power%20YH-%20XH-3+3-6S%20Adapter&kategoriID=10000

I started connecting things, and just as I put the second balancing plug into the harness the damn thing short curcuits. Luckley there seems to be no damage to the packs, but one of the minus pins was completely burnt off afterwards. I read true various post here on the freak, and was able to hook it up from a picture posted by Skeppley. The LBA10 which im using fired up and seemed to be balancing out the packs, but im not sure if the damage pin will make a difference or not.

Im hoping im not doing anything wrong in posting Skeppleys picture again, and maybe people will figure out what im talking about. On the harness I have, The minus of one of the packs are connected to the first red wire on the FP packs, and this is the pin that's now gone. So the result is what the pictures shows of the Blinky balancer. Will this work with two 3S FP packs connected to an LBA10?

dunno if you have this but ...

on the picture ( blinky) you will see the one wire is not connected on the balancer tab , if this wire is connected it will go bam as you say :D

this is because it closes the circuitby connecting + to - on the one cell and again on the other side of the cells tabs

the solution is to cut this wire (insulate it of course) then connect the batteries to the balancer cable and with a volt meter you should be able to measure the voltage stepping up in increments of + - 4 volts
