i called them and they said that if you get 2x additional receivers, you get 2x of the type that you bought, i think thats what i got out of it.

You can get up to two extra Rxes. The one in the kit counts as buying one, and if you buy another one, you can get a second one of that model also.

Or you could buy the kit and two other Rxes, and get a second one of each of these.

The more I think about it, the more unhappy I get with Horizon/Jr/Spektrom. Those who paved the way to making the system so popular are getting shafted.

I guess I would order a module and extra Rx, and sell the module. :)

Yep, you're right. I have 2 DX7's and 3 AR7000's ... none of which qualify.

Sells must be down, competition up, or they are trying to clean out old stock. It's a really short time frame for purchasing, you notice they didn't include all the units purchased over Christmas ?

I just got my JRX9303 and bought a poop lode of receivers. Talk about feeling like a turkey. Could have waited, didn't need them until spring, but I hate when stuff isn't available and got em while I could. Least they could do is 1 for 3 on just the receivers. LOL

I am thinking of buying a DX6i and an extra Rx, get my two free ones and sell the DX6i Tx. :)

You can get the DX6i for about $170. Comes with an AR6200. Buy an AR6100 for $40 and get an AR6200 and an AR6100 for free.

Sell Tx for $100 and you are still ahead. :) So 4 Rxes for $110

I bought a DX7 and a X9303 and a bunch of additionnal rx this week. And those nice folks at Horizon decided this free rx thinggy offer is only good in the USA.


I just shelled close to 1500$ in JR/Spektrum radios this week. but can't get the free rx's. So I have one thing to say:

I'm even more pissed about this now as I checked my receipt from todds models and it's dated for Feb. 13th talk about missing it by 2 days what a hunk of poopoo and I purchased an extra ar7000 with my 9303

I called Horizon and they basically said the one that comes with the radio doesn't count. So if you buy a dx7 combo and a receiver, you get one free receiver for a total of three. Sorry, that's what I was told. Maybe the rep doesn't understand, but she sounded pretty sure.

It's too bad because I just bought a DX7 and need a second receiver. I guess I'll just have to buy a third heli.

The receiver that comes with the radio does not count. The only receivers that count are the additional receivers bought. The keyword is system in the first line of the terms and conditions.

Arrrrg I bought my 9303 too soon. hmm that 6i and 2 6200's to end up with 5 6200's sounds workable.

I looked at the numbers. A DX6i plus a AR7000 and an AR6100 comes out to about $278 (lowest pricing). You get a second AR6100 and AR7000, plus the AR6200 from the kit. Total value about $302. Sell the Tx for $100 and you save $124.

More money saved if you buy 2 x AR7000 or AR6200 or R921s. :)
