ANYBODY USING FUTABA 2.4 IN HELIS?

I JUST BOUGHT THE 2.4 SYSTEM FOR MY 14MZ, I WAS WONDERING OF ANY OF YOU GUYS HAVE USED THIS SYSTEM IN A GLOW HELI YET AND HOW YOU LIKE IT?

I know several using it in the 12Z and also the 14MZ. It works great in nitro and electric.

Curious where you found a TM14 2.4 ghz module and receiver in stock?

when you POST IN ALL CAPS it's discourteous. I am using the 2.4 in my 14mz and i love it, have 3 14 ch receivers and 4 of the 7 ch receivers. they all work great, waiting on a couple more 8 ch when they come. Ron

We are using the 12FG and 7C 2.4 systems in helis.
Works great.

Using the TM-14/R6014FS combo with my 14MZ in my Vibe, and it's perfect. :)

Using it on a 12Z works great now I just don't want to cut the foam in the case when I put the transmitter in with the module in. Any one have pics of how they store the transmitter where you won't risk breaking the antenna?

I got mine for my 14MZ right when they were first released in Dec. I actually had to wait for the software to be available from futaba before I could use it. I had it on back order at the LHS. It works great never a problem, It came just in time to install in my 600n that santa left me.

As for storing it as to not break the antenna, I just trimmed the foam in the transmitter case with a pair of sharp sissors and it goes right in.

I've been using the TM-14 module in my 12Z for quite a while with no problems. We've also been using a couple of 6EX's on a camera ship since August of last year with no issues at all. We had both of those tested recently at a local shop and I'm glad to say they tested clear of the issues that Futaba has been having with the 6 and 7 channel FASST systems. About the only disappointment I've had is how long it's taking Futaba to bring all of their systems to the market but what we've got so far is working great!

I use the 12fg with 2.4 in my Raptor 50. Everything seems to work great. I haven't had to much flight time with it because the weather stinks in Wisconsin.

There is a difference with this radio compared to my old 9c. I already know I like this system better.:thumbup:

Hi I have a TM14 China and Hongkong region, my transmitter is America (72MHz), any ideas how I could change the transmitter to China/HK region to use the TM14 module. I am in the Middle East and here people use radios from most regions.
