Running 2 3S Hobby City 2250mah lipos in my T-REX 500. Nothing but great flight times and battery not even hot when the flight in over at 8 mins!
These are the 25C versions.
If this keeps up I will never buy another battery with a big fat name on them. I have compare these to my TP-V2 batts and they are every bit the same battery Power source.
but at the 75 bucks to the door for two! We have been using them in some pretty hot setups and they have given some awesome time and not as hot as other batteries we used!
Thanks Guys!
I will be reporting in if I have any problems!

i also have the hobby city battery in my 450. love it i have 25 flight no issues yet. i also bought the zippy-r packs they seem to fly really nice as well. Hobby city are $10 cheaper than the zippy.
I will try to keep updates as usage goes up

I bought 6 3S 2250Mah 25C-35C batts. The first full discharge remove 2200 before they reached the cutoff limit!
I let them sit for a hour and back in 2200mah. These cells look like the same company packages for Thunder power. They are a little heavier. But I really don't care for the price diff!
Thanks,
Elvan Wilson!

I got a shock the first time I ran the new Hobbycity packs too. I of course use my low-volt alarms... It was set to 21v and came in after I had used 2150mA. Way over the 80% recommended limit so I upped the voltage limit a little. These packs seem to hold their voltage very well :) Great price too.
