Question about 50A ESC

Hi everyone, I got my Hurricane in yesterday ad have begun setting her up. I have the GAUI 50A ESC and I also have an Align BEC that I'm going to use with it. Do I still have to remove the red wire from the ESC's reciever plug to inhibit the built in BEC? Sorry, I'm a newbe to the seperate BEC thing.

NO...the Gaui does not have a built in ESC.....just plug everything in and use it...

You can power the rx and servos and not the motor...so you can make adjustments.
