Today as i was heading out to fly my heli I put my DX7 neckstrap on and started heading out the door then all of a sudden the DX7 was flying down toward the kitchen floor. It seemed like slow motion. I could not catch it. It crashed down on the hard floor and bounced a little. The impact broke the battery wires. After a quick resoldering everything worked ok. The cause was the center post that you connect the neckstrap to became unthreaded. I had no idea it was loose. I guess over time it became loose and backed all the way out. Just as a caution I will now check it from time to time. The DX7 is one tough little TX.
