My new Trex 450 v2 is sitting in my workshop since last week UNOPENED! I've been practicing on Phoenix. Great sim by the way. The only thing I need is a Gyro. I've been thinking of a Spartan DS760, but nobody seems to have any. Anybody running a Spartan on a V2 ? Whats your experience with this gyro ? I will be using a Futaba S9257 for the tail. Helifreak is a great resource for us newbies.

That's nothin'. My 1st 600 sat in its box for almost 4 months before I finally broke it out and started to build it. It was almost 4 more months after that before I maidened it. :)

Not for long! This time we are making 4 times more gyros than last batch and hofully there will be enough for everyone. But it worth placing a pre-order or add yourself in some shops email notification system just in case. Last month they sold out within hours.
Here is a video of ds760 on t-rex 450 using S3153 tail servo. Your S9257 should perform a little better. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lr4pl4r0lf0

If this is your 1st heli, id personally go with something like a 401, just because there are videos on how to set it up with your heli, plus its a damn good gyro.
