is the 10X just as easy..
Ivan, it's not even close. The 10X is a great radio, but isn't nearly as "user friendly" as your 9103.

The 10x is one heck of a radio, but after playing with my friends 10x and just getting a 9303, I would rate the 9303 as the easiest to use. Yes, the 10x is able to do more involved mixes, etc., but it is definitely not user friendly, at least not as user friendly as the 9303.
I also like having the plane modes and the glider modes with the 9303. I know you can use the 10x for other applications, but the 9303 has it built in and easy to use.
Can you tell, I'm a 9303 fan? heheeeee

Ok thanks guys, i will stick to the 9303 then, and use the extra funds for another Heli.......Ivan!
I have never had the pleasure of getting acquanted with the 9303, but I can tell you the 10x is nice. It has several functions that I don't even think I will ever use, and some that I can't live without. The case feel is fery nice, and the gimbals are like nothing I have ever flown.
It is quite complicated at some points, and there are some tricks to figure out, like the code 17 screen that inhibits or allows trims in stunt mode, and so on.
Personally, I find it easier to use than an 8103, and light years easier than a XP783. I would imagine that the 9303 has improved on the 10x, just because it is maybe six years newer in design, and JR has probably figured out what works from the 10x and what doesn't. I would think that with the advent of the Heading hold gyro, a pitch curve for the tail is not needed anymore, which the 10x has one for every flight mode. I don't know how many flight modes the 9303 has, but the 10x has five possible flight modes, of which I use 2. Also the 10x has 7 point curves, and I only use 5 on throttle, and 3 on pitch. the 10x does have 140º ccpm, but I know 120º ccpm works fine too, so if you fly a vigor, it really doesn't matter, but you can use 140ccpm if you have the 10x, I m not sure about the 9303.
But, the single thing I like most about the 10x is that I like to mess with stuff, and it can keep me occupied for days at a time.

9303 has:
5 flight modes
7 point curves
All you eCCPM mixes
Governor Settings
And a lot more.
Ivan and I agree for sure on one thing the 10x does have is the nicest feeling gimbals on the market.

How much should i be looking at for a 10X with just receiver, and the aluminum case, no servos i prefer Futaba servos, all this new of course...thanks...Ivan!
I am not sure on that. I got the transmitter only set up for $40, new. I am sure you probably won't find a deal like that for some time to come.
I was thinking the transmitter only was about $700, and that doesn't include the module, reciever, switch, servos etc. Just a transmitter, antenna, book, freq flag, and a case. it would be much better to call Rick's or look it up on horizons website, as I am very good at quoting the wrong price.
