Headblock pins through the washout base hit the swashplate at full elevator or aileron deflection.

Anyone using the upgraded swash/washout assembly and grind your pins down? I'd think I definitely do NOT want them hitting the swash. I'm assuming as long as the pin is about half way(or a tad more) down into the washout base groove under full negative pitch that I'll be ok. I wouldn't want the pins popping out all the way for sure:shock:

Yes, had to trim them on our 600E. I think I took off about 1 or 1.5 mm.

I'm having the same problem and wasn't sure what to do my self.

mine hit at full pitch and cyclic commands, which u should never be at anyways, so i just left the pins the stock length.

Ok well I messed with it again, at full positive collective(washout block about 1mm from touching the headblock, the pins are less than half a millimeter from touching the swash. With no cyclic input. So I figured I should trim them a bit but here's the other problem, at full negative collective the pins are only halfway in the grooves in the washout. So if I trim them I'm going to risk them coming out.
