Ok ok....
After breaking my YS 91 in flight today, I decided I need a quick replacement so I can be ready to go for Black Sheep next weekend. I got an OS 91 C Spec PS from a buddy who ordered the 3rd needle (the mid range) but did not install it
Does anyone know where to set the mid needle at??? The motor has about 30 flights on it and is just about broken in.

It is actually not the mid range, it is a restrictor needle that restricts the flow of fuel back to the tank from the return nipple on the carb. I have seen people take eyelits from servos and crush them and put them inside their return tubing to accomplish the same thing. Clint actually was the first I saw to use the restrictor, he make me one for my first PS from a filter he soldered up then put a very small hole in teh solder. There are many ways to restrict this fuel flow, but the needle is the "Official" way from OS.

1.5 turns from fully closed plus 3 clicks. This should put you in the ballpark.
Screwing the needle in will actually richen the mid range. Screwing it out will lean it. The third needle is controlling how much excess fuel is allowed to bypass from the carb.
