Missing Parts Bag

Well just got my Logo 5003D last week and was able to sit down and start building today. Opened up the bag of parts containing the individually numbered bag, layed them on the table and guess what. No bag #9 to be found anywhere. I called FXAeromodel and left a message today and am hoping to here something back from them on Monday. I'm hoping their customer service is good and this gets resolved without any hassle. In addition I also found that the threaded stud used to install the the nuts into the frame was not included in the parts bag it was supposed to come in.

So far i've only gotten the frames and the tail assembly done and even though I had some critical parts missing i must say that the build is very enjoyable so far. Luckily this took away some of the dissapointment of getting an uncomplete kit. Fortunately i'm waiting for a few of my electronics and wasn't planning to have this flying for another couple of weeks. Hopefully I can get back on track with parts before i'm able to get the electronics needed to complete my build

Bag 9 has all the link ends and rods for the head as well as tail push rod and boom supports.

For that heli I have a few head links and ends.... and flybar paddles. Your going to need much more than that to get it flying. Let me know what FXAeromodel says. If they shaft you I'll send you what I got.

Thanks for the offer Jeremy. I'm really hoping FXAeromodel does the right thing, but this is my first experience with them so i'm not sure. Hopefully I will hear back from them today and get this resolved.

Just wanted to follow up on this. I contacted FXAeromodel when I found the bag was missing and Mavis over there promptly contacted the distributor who then immediately sent me the bag of parts. While it shouldn't have been missing in the first place I feel that FXAeromodel and Aeromodel Hacker handled the situation very professionally.

Good to hear.
I am watching this forum for making my purchasing decisions as I assume are many other people.
I had an order problem with Helihobby which the customer service manager went to extreme steps to fix. It's not the screw ups that matter, it's how they are handled. I was impressed with Helihobby and now with your vendor. Keeping the rest of the forum aware of companies with the commitment to customer service is our best way of keeping the cream on top and the losers out of business. Otherwise we are all shopping blind. We need stories of both kinds, but hope everyone is like yourself and matches the good results (if they occur) with the complaints.

I have recieved mine today and noticed bag nr. 4 and 11 are missing.am I right or what?:)

I don't think there is a bag 4 (looked through my pictures and didn't see it) and bag 11 should be the tail boom.

Bruce is correct. If you look in the first page or two of your manual it says there is no bag #4. Bag #11 isn't so much of a bag but is in fact the tail boom and supports. I did the same thing looking for bag #11 for awhile before having the "doh" moment.

Well I remember looking for bag 11 and somehow didn't even look at the label on the tail boom... Its easy to be mistaken when you start looking at the bags coming out of the package and then you start counting when you see the sequence.
