I'm fairly new to LiPo battery packs and some of the info out there (and here) is not super clear on them. This is what I do with mine. Charge pre-flight (battery cool to touch) fly and let sit until cool then recharge. If I charge them and can't fly for some reason OR if I discharge them in flight and won't be flying for a while then I set them up on the "storage" mode on my BC6 charger and take them to 11.4v.

I do have one question. After storage for a while should I just charge and fly or should I charge- discharge- charge and fly? I read somewhere that this would re-condition the battery ???

Thanks

Just charge and go. No need to cycle them like the old days with NiCads. My packs are all stored in various states of charge, some fully charged and some partial. Depends on which ones I used and for how long. If I'm flying the next day I just put them all on charge to bring them up to ready to fly capacity the nght before
