Sweet Charley. I might try a mega 16/15/5 or 16/25/3 as they guys from mega motors usa are out here and I see them a few times a year at events. I'm waiting for Don to call me back to get info I called him kinda late in the day but they are both in the kv range.

Oh yes Mega Motors I amost forgot yes I have tested the 16/25/3 with 11tpinion results have been Great with them Very powerful motor.
I tried contacting Mega but they never responded..... so most of our team testing has been on using medusa as they have went above and beyond to help us out providing my team with motors and becs Jeff from medusa spent an entire saturday with us in boston when the first batch of Preproduction team kits came in he brought us motors and helped gather some Data on current draw etc... So in my opinion Medusa has went above and beyond
I plan to contact Steve Neu to see if he produce some motors. when I went to Toledo Show met up with Steven Chao(Aon, Cermark) he has some new up and coming brands so i will contact him also
More to follow

I can't wait to pull on one! Had to watch it be flown all weekend long at B'ham and didn't get one little hover. I did get to finger it a lot though.

Now I want one of these to...
BUT... Before buying, we need a Outrage G5 dealer in Norway. Parts availability is important.
Here's my planned setup if we get a dealer here in Norway.
Medusa MR-028-040-1700V2
Kontronik Jazz 40-6-18
Hitec HS-5065MG x3 (if they ever hit the market) Or I'll rip my Rex for the HS-65-HB's
Spartan DS760
Futaba S9257 – Will take it from my Rex
Spektrum AR6200 – Will take it from my Rex
RotorTech 350mm
Outrage XP25 6S1P 1300mAh 25C
K&B's?
What do you think?
Thanks,
Most of the parts that will break in a crash are interchangable with align 450se parts.

Flybar, mainshaft, spindle, maingear ..... if those develop slop you are flying ALOT harder than i am :)

But what about blade holders, swashplates, mixer arms and stuff?
Well, if some 450SE parts fit, It might not be a big deal. I can order from the states anyway, but at a higher shipping cost and time. It's not saving the climate, but at least I'm sticking with electrics and not smoky CO2 nitros... :D
Thanks,
The grips, swashplate and mixer arms are all custom stuff by charley. But this stuff doesn't break in a crash.

Is the Outrage G5 a well engineered helicopter that won't have any "child diseases" like the T-Rex 450SE V1, V1,5 etc?
Isn't it a newer version of the G4?
Also, why has the G5 gotten so much attention compared to the G4? Due to the 6S?
Is the Medusa MR-028-040-1700V2 the way to go?
I don't know a lot about the Outrage series, but when I heard and started to read about the G5, I was sold. And now I've been told that an Outrage G5 will be sent to one of the biggest RC-Shops in Norway to test! :)
Thanks,
