Where did you get these blades from?

Are they from the Blade 400?

Thanks.

I guess I am going to give them a try since I can't find carbon fiber or even stock wood ones in stock anywhere.

No one ever has blades for the belt. Got to check the web sites everyday waiting for them to come in......Unles you want to wait for a shipment from Hong Kong

One thing I was wondering about is that the tail fin looks like it may be there to help prevent boom strikes.

If the 325mm blades are longer than stock they may be able to reach behind that plate and strike the boom? :arggg:

Tail boom strikes are known to happen with the 325 blades, just becareful with you landings and lay it down nice and smooth and you won't have any issues.

Ok, I'm getting a little confused here. Doesn't the stock belt cp come with 325 MM blades? So why would a different 325MM blades cause a boom strike? I have had my belt for 3 days now, and the one that came stock with it, are way, way, way off balance. So i was actually looking for blades today also. Will 325mm align go on there with no problem or do you have to mod?

The stock blades fro the Belt-CP are 315mm.

I stopped waiting for US e-stores to get them back in stock and bought 5 sets from HK.
There are a couple of guys on EBay that sell them (Buy it Now) for $30-$31 delivered.
They take about 8 days to get to the East Coast USA but at ~$6 a set are a deal.
cwtco and cyberport888 are the guys.
Sorry about the ad guys.

hi guys
I also use the e-flight 325mm blades on both my blade 400 and esky belt cp with no problems and even in the uk, hk is the place to get them from.
happy flying

I use Align 325 Fiber blades with no problem..

Again alot of boom strikes happen when your main blades are too loose and you land rough.

I have tried the eflight blades, wasnt all that much better than the stock esky blades, the align blades however really wait this bird up.

Hi

I have just put in a 430XL and 35x esc in my Belt, using 12T pinion. Since I did that I have allmost fried my lipos. I have read that the 430xl eats lipos, but I have not even tuched the Idle up on my DX7. Still the lipos have been so warm that it has been scary. I just found out that it was the Esky wood blades that made the problem!
I had a bunch and am still tuching ground some times, so I thought I'll use em up, but NO!
The plastic wrapping is like a sail and when I cut it off the heat problem disapeard, the heli became silent and very stable.
Just so you know.

I tried Eflight blades prior to the align blades, didnt really like the performance due to the flat bottom of the blade.

As dierwolf says, the align blades are the ones to go for, whether its the pro (woodies) or fiber and whether 315 or 325 go with the align you will not regret it.

I've run both 315mm & 325 Align fiber blades and will never go back to the Esky wood blades. Those are junk as far as i'm concerned. I've had the covering material peel off for no apparent reasoning. Love the Align's.

One more vote for the Aligns... At the price and performance, they're pretty hard to compete with. After trying them on, it hurts to even look at the stock woodies again :)

To be fair, the few pairs of Esky woodies I had on the Belt weren't quite as abysmally warped and off balance as the ones I had on the King II. The killer was that the covering peeled off in flight, forcing me to change blades every five to ten flights even if I never crashed. They may look cheap, but those replacement costs add up quickly...

Align woodies are great value for how good they are theres no comparison to Esky

I try and stay away from the Align fiber blades. They fly really well, but in a crash they will transfer the shock into the head (the fiber are super tough blades) instead of smashing and absorbing the energy. Better to write-off a set of blades then CNC head parts.:mad:

You getting the picture now! LOL!!! I use either the Align 315pro or 325pro woodies, and the only boom strike I got was with the 325s on a heavy landing [bungled by me!!]. They give a bit more lift than the 315 [obviously] with no loss of rotor speed or responsiveness, with maybe a trifle more stability thrown in. As the aces above have said, they are miles ahead of the pEsky stock woodies in looks, quality and performance. The pEsky ones are good for lighting fires!!!

Where are you guys buying the Align blades?

Are they worth getting while I am still learning and using up blades fairly quickly?

What's the price difference - $3? When the Eskys start their self-destruct sequence (takes about ten flights in my experience) that will cost you $10 even without crashing... Plus the Align woodies will survive a lot of bumps that would completely obliterate a set of Eskys. The way I figure it, you're saving money from day one.

I would say I usually get mine from Helidirect and Aero-fever while I'm ordering spares, but I'm not sure if four sets can be considered a habit. Three of those are still in my spares stash. I fly over soft grass, and basically stopped breaking blades when I switched to Align.
