Hi Im new to the heli world and was in the market for some batteries for my trex450se v2j. I did some research and confused myself even more. So now Im just going to consult with everyone here on helifreak.

I've narrowed my choices down and here they are
1. flight power evo30 2000mah
2. flightpower evo25 2170mah
3. Thunderpower 25c 2200mah.

Which of the three I listed would you guys and ladies pick and why?

Should I sacrifice flight time for more amps or should I sacrifice power for more flight time. Exactly how much more flight time will I get with the addtional 200mah from the tp?

Thanks

If you're, as you say, new to flying heli's, I would recommend you go for the flight time option over power. It's unlikely you'll feel or be able to use the power difference between a 25C and a 30C battery.

I'd go with the TP 2200's, I've had great luck (seems to be an important factor with Lipos) with them. Also, as a newer flyer you'll benefit from increased flight time more than anything else- but when you're ready for more demanding manuevers your batteries will be up to it.
