Gene,
I regret to inform all you hard working folks at Augusta that the Erickson Flight Skool will be not attending this weekend. At least the proprietor will not be attending. We have a friend/visitor from Chicago staying with us this weekend. I cant speak on behalf of the countless graduate students that may or may not attending your fly-in. I hope all of you helicopter pilots this weekend have a chance to work on your figure 9's . It is one of the many specialty maneuvers taught at EFS. Hope you all have a great time , and fly safe.

Bill,
You and the Ericsson Flight Skool were sorely missed. No one was able to demonstrate that famous maneuver. We do understand that some commitments can not be honored. We will be expecting a visit sometime soon.
It really was a great day out there. We had 21 pilots show up, a mix of plankers and heli pilots. the heli guys were flying there tail rotors off... burning through fuel and batteries like crazy.. The weather was perfect for flying.. not tooo hot and a brief sprinkle in the afternoon. We fed them well and they were still flying when this reporter left for the day.
To all who came out today I wish to say thank you. To Janet Brown and Janeen Mohr I also extend my gratefulness for cooking and serving a fantastic lunch.
We are looking forward to another day of flying tomorrow even though the weather looks iffy in the afternoon.
Hope to see those who can be there tomorrow.

Here are the few pictures I took. I flew a gallon and a half with my Fury and 4 flights with my Gaui 200, so I didn't spend much time with the camera.
We had a guy show up with I think what's called a Para-Glider and if it wasn't for the storm that came rolling in, he would have let anyone try it.

And for those that were video taping, I'd love to get a copy or link to any video of me flying if possible.
Thanks

Thanks Brian for the images. Shawn was doing the video and taking pictures too. I am looking forward to seeing them. It was a great weekend and after the little 45min storm that blew through there was more flying.
The event was a big success from all the comments I heard. I want to thank all who attended and will look forward to seeing you all again soon at another event.

Had a great time this weekend! I got in lots of flights Fri. and Sat. got in a few flights Sun. untill the Hyper 50 blew. I can't complain, It earned its keep for well over two years with many many flights. It just needs a new piston and ring. New bearings while I'm in it. I even flew my plank a couple of times. Matter-a-fact, where is the pic of me flying a plank wearing a Helifreak t-shirt? Met some cool new friends and hope to see you all again soon. Thanks for a great weekend! Post more pics!! Sorry Wayne wasn't there, but we made the best out of it.
