I'd be heartbroken if the skool didn't show up. :)

It is with great pride and humiliation that we accept this honorable invitation. Just in case some of my students are unable to attend - I will make the trek myself .

Gene,
Is it possible that violent wag in your 600N tail is a result of a constant left hand shaking syndrome -- I offer a class on eliminating this dreaded affliction !!

Well if that is the cause then it is a problem that Wayne needs to cure as he was flying it!

gene,
I've got a fix, not a cure. I'll take all that pesky Align stuff off your hands and even pay you a couple of bucks for it. Then you can drink some of the K3D Kool-Aid... hahaha.....

oldskool.... nah... I like my Align stuff... It is cheap to crash... besides... when hovering what does it matter... :-)
BUT... if the price was right I am sure I could be convinced to part with my Align stuff... But hey. come on down
for this. We are looking forward to our first event and after this past weekend in B'Ham we know we have some
high standards to live up to!
We will be opening up the gates once we know who is going to be the earliest to arrive!. We look forward to
seeing as many of our Helifreak friends there as possible.

Wayne,
I believe me and Mr Reinhart will be at this event. We talked about in your mobile home on Saturday (I call it a home cuz that is what it is). I had a great time at B'Ham and was really nice to put a face to that name...

Hey Wayne!
How the hell are you doing shipmate????
We've had a rough couple of years with the family and it looks like your event is going to be our first in those two, tough laid off years.
Mark is better and they managed to save the sight in my left eye....had just about gotten to the point that I was going to sell everything. Will tell you the whole friggin story when we see you.
Also, went back to work to pay for the 28 acres (with a 4 acre flying field) we bought in SC just north and west of Greenville....near Marietta. And,wouldn't you know the job is on the new VH-71 presidential helicopter....just can't stay away from them.
Drop me a PM when you get a chance.

WooHoo!! War stories around the campfire!! Yea baby!
Guess I need to get off my ass and find the closest water and dump station huh?
There is a Flying J at I-20 exit 299 (last exit before SC) but that is really too far if you have full tanks.
Water should be available from the Firehouse/ city hall less than 1/2 mile away. I'll see if I can convince them to allow us a temporary dump station as well.
Of course grey water can be dumped onsite.

Hey guys,
I know you posted that your club is both fixed and rotary wing, but are you just going to do a heli event on the posted days?
WayneBrown
03-22-2008, 09:42 PM
if any plankers show up, we'll send them downwind... ;)
Really we are looking to have a BIG heli area, out by the road, and the plankers to the rear. We will play it by ear, but keep everyone flying as best we can. I believe we have room enough.

Wayne, any hotel info?
Thanks,

What's close I wouldn't stay in, and the ones that are nice are a pretty good ride.
The closest iffy-decent is Gordon Hwy, otherwise Belair,Wheeler, or Washington Roads will have better to very nice accomodations.
This event will be after the Masters tournement, so everything should be spruced up and clean, You just have to drive to a more populated side of town to get there.
http://www.blytherc.org then click on 'view larger map' under the map and search for motels.
ANYTHING on Deans Bridge road should be considered off-limits..
Thanks for the info Wayne.

We will be out working at the field getting ready for this FIRST annual event. If we continue to get rain we may be able to offer float flyers an optional landing area. The field should be looking good and club officers and members are getting excited.
Should be lots of fun had by all... as I hear it Bill will be bringing his famous flight skool down along with Henry and his Madddddd 3DDDZZZZZZZ......
Looking forward to all who can make it.
