Not to forget the value of the dollar compared to euro.

The package that comes with the Z-power motor looks good for learning. The one big thing I don't like is the 3700 mah battery. I'd recommend Evolite 6s 5350 packs so you get a good amount of hover time.

Another thing is I don't know anything about the ESC/BEC & main blades they are sending with it. I think you would be happier in the long run to buy higher quality stuff like i listed above if money will allow.

Also don't be afraid to shop around and buy some of the stuff used. You can get a lot of bang per buck if you buy used.... and get higher quality stuff.

just my .02

Good choices!!!

DX7 is what use and I really like it. The JR9303 2.4Ghz is has lots of bells and whistles.

The AR7000 receiver should be your minimum as it has the remote satellite antenna, next step up is the AR9000. For your motor selection use 15tooth for sport to med 3D, 16 tooth for 3D and more aggressive flight.

do I need to have a regulator and if so any particular brand?:)

No the Jazz ESC has a BEC built in it.... A regulator is for a 2s Lipo to run all your radio equipment. You don't need it since your ESC has a BEC (Battery Elimater Circut) built in it.

That is my exact setup and it has proven to be very responsive, powerful, and stable. BTW - I'm running a 15T with 560mm blades. The BEC on the Jazz worked great but I decided to switch over to a CC BEC so I could get 6V. If you run 14T with 515-550mm blades you should be able to get 7-8 minutes on the 6S EVOlite 5350.
