The new Fiber Glass canopy that looks like the light weight canopy.

For some reason, I like the original canopy more than the others. I know its a little heavier but I think it looks better.
very fragile though! broke mine just taking it out the case! lots of other good fitting canopies out there to make her stand out! The plastic lighter one I received seemed very small in comparison to the fibre one I broke!

Blade CX2 canopies look pretty good on them. Light too. I like the look of the light weight canopy but hate the seam in the middle.
I just got a glass display stand with three shelves and electronic LED lights to show off the heli's and keep hands away from them. I wish the canopies didn't have the seams. Makes them look cheap IMO.

Buzkill can you tell us how you painted that black canopy and why we don't see it in any of your pictures or videos?

Sure, I sanded the stock canopy, layed down a metalic silver base, covered that with black pearl and put the Gaui stickers on it.
You can see it (kinda) in the super short vid I did on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-9hJceBVm4 the video quality is crappy and the video is definatelt "super short", I took it to the dome still not 100% dry flew around and the stickers started waving. I took off the stickers,sanded and repainted it another color.
For me, the color of the canopy doesnt really matter because I really can't tell the difference when I'm flying.
I think I've done at least 12 canopies both FG and the plastc one.
