My Manual has no typo!
one beep Airplane mode
Two beeps Helicopter mode with Governor
Three beeps Helicopter mode without Governor

Gov mode is 5 beeps then 3 beeps, if I remember correctly. My manual is 110miles away right now, but I'm pretty sure that it goes Airplane/Heli no gov/Heli Gov.

As i already said.
My manual has no Misprint and 5 beeps and then 3 beeps is Heli Mode Without Govorner.

Sorry about Pasqual, I missed the last little bit of your post. I had it backwards.
Do you use governor mode? I don't have the electronics in mine, but I spooled it up partially on the bench and when I put pitch on the tail rotor the head slowed down, figured the governor should have prevented that....
