Thats a good way to kill a lipo. Tp extreme and fp 25's can be pushed to 2c but at the cust of cycles. I would not charge any lipo at 3c and only charge tp extreme at 2c. !c is your safe way to charge.

Hmmmm well I've had them for over a month and on average fly 5-6 times a day subtracting for weather 100 + cycles easy.....I started really beating on them when I saw someone posting that they charged at 5 amps since they are so cheap, 1 died :( after that I only charge higher amps on my cellpro, the Imax B5 is the one that killed the other batt. and Yes, I charge at 3C on the cellpro usually takes 30-40 mins to fully charge. I dont recommend charging at 3C prob not good for your battery but at 25 bucks each, I dont care LOL.

Ok, but have you seen a lipo go thermal? You could down your house. I have seen how fast and hot a lipo can go thermal. They burn hot like a phos nade. It will keep burning under water. the fumes that come off burning lipos aren't good for you either. But I have given my warning and its up to you to decide from here.

Hey Lock, how warm are they at the end ? I have Evo 25's, great battery but not that cheap ($70 each), 11 min flying basics and at the end they are just warm. How much flight time you get from them ?

just ordered/received some other cheap batts from black dog rc we'll see how they do. my flight time on the loong-max batts are about 9 minutes. they are about 80-90 degrees at end of flight - by time they are done charging at 3c (30-40 mins) they are cool. I read somewhere, I think it was FMA's website, with the cellpro you can safely charge at 3c on any batt with an 18c or higher discharge.

I've got the TP 2200 V2 Extreme, it will fit, but its tight.
I've also got a pair of Long Max 2250 25C, indeed great batteries. 2C charge them every time, and do it right after they come out of the bird (slightly above room temp). So far I have nearly 40 flights in on these batteries and I'm satisfied with them.
However, they don't fit inside the stock canopy unless you punch new holes for the mounting grommets and move the canopy forward about 10mm. If you dont, the batterie rubs against the motor, peeling off the sticker, making an awful noise as it flaps around inside the canopy before it finally lets go. All the time it flailing away, I was expecting it to fall out of the sky :-)
