Well i did fly about 9 flights with my gohbee and did find time to change from futaba to 2.4ghz spektrum. During that work i also had widened the motor mount holes so that it comes down a bit because the clutch was rubbing slightly on the bell.

So good so far but during setup the radio i recognize that i dont have the same amount of pitch/travel way on the head. I was amazed, just because i did everything according to the manual. So i was thinking to myself, that i will start now completely different i will set the the head to the middle and adjust the pitch servo that it will be 90 at center so that this matches. Then i will adjust rest of the head to get 0 at center. So then everything should be good and i should get same amount of pitch traven on both ways.

Is this correct or did i miss something?

Greetings

Max

Set the servo at 90 to the link.
set the collective arm in the center of its travel.
set the swash in the center of its travel.

Adjust all of the links to fit this and you will have equal travel in both directions.

While this will give you equal travel, I do not set mine to equal travel for the simple reason that the engine does not have near enough power to hold +/- 13 degrees. I set up mine so that I can get -11 +15.
In the idle ups and normal mode I run +/- 10 or 11 depending on the weather. I have the full -11 +15 in hold just in case I need that little extra at the end of an auto.

Along with what Jeff has said if your mixing arms and washout arms are even with one another you know the swash is in the center of travel and pitch should be 0 iff not really close.
