Thought I'd mention this heli, as it doesn't get much press over in the US here...

For those looking for a bolt-together micro, this one delivers:
stacked frames
RTF 365g
280mm blades
no slop tail hub with bearings in grips
main head like big machines with spindle, 6 O rings and 4 bearings
reasonably priced crash parts

3 types of main blades too:
18$ semi-flexible plastic (excellent quality, not too heavy and sturdy)
28$ FG
38$ CF

I believe this machine is worth looking into, and compares favorably to the alternates. I bought my first one and was so impressed, I decided to get involved supporting them in the US.

Where to get them in North America: www.elektrorc.com, russ@elecheli.com and icare-rc.com

Pete, you made a great move deciding to distribute the Maxir. Nice looking heli's.

I'm still a FP noob with Hornet II dreams, but I'm sure I'm going to bite when I'm ready and try one of these Maxir's. Not a bad review yet. Nice ship, much lighter than the Trex (and I'm not knocking the Trex, its just really a mini heli instead of a micro heli class), very flickable, and reasonable spare parts.

Thx JB!

http://wiki.elektrorc.com has construction information as well for more info.

Hope to see you with one soon. There is one for sale (kit with a few missing parts) on rcgroups that you may be able to get cheap...

Take care!

Saw that one, thought about following it up, decided just to hold off and get a full kit in the future.
