One of my buddies that is constantly doing me favors as me to make him a Neck Strap Balancer for his 14MZ radio that he has converted to the FASST System. He was having some issues with the way the transmitter balanced on his neckstrap.

Finally, I was able to do something for him.

Here are a few pictures of what I made.

Thanks for the compliment.

I recently purchase a new HAAS 3 Axis CNC Toolroom mill and this project was done on that machine. It was just another excuse to use the mill and check out it's capabilities.

Cool. I also have a TM-1P with a 4th axis. I've had it for a little over a year now. I love it:) If you don't already have it I highly recommend adding the PCOOL option, it's well worth it for only $750.00

Hi Lyle,

Many thanks for the tips and tricks on the HAAS TM-1P. I checked out your website and you have crafted some really beautiful stuff.

Keep up the good work and look forward to our communication as time goes on.

Yes, I have a few left. I sent you a PM with the details.

I have attached a few pictures of my new toy. It has a full enclosure 6000 rpm spindle, programmable coolant, rigid tapping, tool changer, wireless part probing and tool setting capabilities, chip auger and fully capable of 3 Axis CNC machining. It is almost as adictive as R/C Helicopters.

Lyles machine is similar to mine except his has the 4th axis. I am now jealous as that is a very expensive option that will allow you to do some really neat stuff. Well, there is always next Christmas.

Hi Lyle,

Here is a picture of the balancer in action. I have found that it fits not only the 14MZ but most other Futaba models as well as other mfg's radios.

I fit one to my buddies new 10C and had to offset the spacer hole a little and it fit perfect.
Very nice part!
