I recently purchased a TREX 600 Nitro Pro and am dying to get it in the air and start learning. So far the biggest challenge has been starting it. The first time out I was missing the ground wire for the 2 in 1 so the glow wouldn't fire. The next time I forgot to remove the muffler cap. Finally now I have gotten my heli to start 3 or 4 times for a limited amount of time, but after 2 or 3 starts my starter gives out. I recently cleared a hydro lock thanks to a thread on these forums, but even afterward my starter seems to be turning to slow and weak. I am not sure if it is because of the abuse I put it through learning how to start the helicopter or because its just a cheap starter. The very last time I tried to start the heli the starter gave out completely, it will no longer turn no matter which battery I connect it to. I don't have the model information, but I was wondering if someone could recommend one that would be less trouble. The current one I am using has alligator clips and I am connecting it to a 12V lawnmower battery that I picked up from Lowes.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
