I have charged the stock batteries over night and day and I don’t get a full charge on my TX it only shows 5.8. These are the Spektrum batteries NImh. Am I supposed to see full charge?
I bought some new NImh batteries and bestbuy and charged them fully and I still get the same thing. If I get regular Duracell batteries it shows full charge on the TX. Is this normal?
Thank you

That sounds normal. I had one and it was doing the same. I think they decided to do this since they can be used with regular AA as well as Nixx AA which have a lower voltage.
Stop worying and go flying. BTW, I was getting 19.5 hours of on time from 4 Rayovac Hybrid 2100 mAh batteries (these are very low self discharge batteries). The best I have seen of all transmitters.

"Regular", non-rechargeable AA batteries have a nominal voltage of 1.5V.
Rechargeable NiMh etc. batteries have a nominal voltage of 1.2V.
That's what you're seeing.
I use "Eneloop" style pre-charged batteries in mine.
For details check out this site: http://www.duracell.com/precharged
They've been working very well for me. I can fly many flying days without even thinking about batteries, which is very nice.
