Hey! This sounds awesome. I live in Olathe, KS; not too far from the event.

I just purchased a Raptor 50 v2 with some extra goodies, all costing me over 2k today; expecting to get it on Thursday (see thread: Click Me (http://www.helifreak.com/about7373.html)). If I can get it built in time, I would REALLY appreciate someone to inspect my work. I am not planning on flying anytime soon, but at the least making some contacts out there so when I am finally ready, I can get the help from you experienced pilots. :)

I will definately make it out.
Thanks,
Mike

Red-Rx7.

There will be more advice than you can stand, as is typical at heli meets. The big thing to remember, is not to fly it until you get to show it off. Never, and I mean never take pictures before you fly it, they guarantee a crash...

At any rate, I will be there and can lend an inspection, if you like.

Ivan-

I really appreciate the support. I have been doing nothing but trying to learn as much as possible. My eyes are so tired of reading, but I keep wanting more. I will really hit the helicopter build hard tomorrow, but I do not know if I can get it finished in time. I believe I can, but you never know what you may encounter. That, and I really don't want to rush through the entire build and make mistakes. I believe it to be very important to be able to identify the parts and how they work, which would be evident from the build practice.

I linked above the parts I purchased, and hopefully that will satisfy everything I need. If you see anything else I may be missing, please let me know! :)

Look forward to meeting you then!

Thanks,
Mike

You will make mistakes on your first build, but that is what the rest of us at Fun Flies are for. We can get it ironed out, and hopefully leave you a bit more knowledgable in the process.

See you there

Thanks to OBJ for a great event. Perfect weather, though a little hot. There was tons of great flying and great company.

You did an awesome job!
