well, 43 hours of work later ALL of the fuselage, wings, stabs and vertical stabs have rivet detail on them. All thats left now, is adding the markings and weathering detail.

I don't think that'll be very visible in the air.

not at all.. thats why imma hang some stuff of the wings to be able to differentiate the "lines" of the plane. this wont be a plane that gets flown when theirs grey louds in the sky...

Got a lil bored, so stuck both turbines in their bypass' an stuck em in the plane.. here's what it will look like.. that big space gets cluttered after awhile. Still waiting on a turbine strap and an autostart upgrade for one of the turbines, along w/ the tailpipes hence why they are only resting in their rough positions.

My package from dreamworks finally showed up after the Post office decided not to deliver mail to the entire street for 2 days... So the gear is finished.. Also got my Lex Fence's from Paul, so i'll have some install pics of those for those who've never seen/installed them before. I've only glanced at his directions, but they look top notch so far.
Here's a quick (30 seconds) vid of the gear and door sequence.

First off: Awesome build! The paint job looks great and the whole project is just insane (in a good way)!
I agree with the comments about seeing it in the air though...
Now about the doors:
Can you slow them down?
I think it would look much better if the doors opened and closed more slowly and the gear would come out more slowly.
Now sure how you'd slow it down though? Air restrictors in the lines?

no air restrictors.. the issue is, if i slow them down, they might not make it up once you put an airload on them while flying. From what i gather from people who have this exact plane w/ alot of time on them, the plane accelerates VERY quickly once off the ground, so you'll never see the gear go up or down anyways.
