My house is in a couldisackso i practice hovering in the street. I have plenty of space and i make sure no one is outside when i practice. Today I started to get some glitches in the middle of my hover. No big but very noticeable. This is my 3rd flight with this remote and this is the first time it happens. I have not done the range check but i will tomorrow. I was wondering, sorry if its a dump question but if someone is on there 2.4ghz phone would this be the cause?
FYI the tx battery is full and i was only standing 5 feet away from the heli.
Im gonna go out on a limb here, and guess that you are flying an electric 450 size heli.
a Blade 400 maybe.
Anyways, you're not getting glitches.
Not even radio interference at all.
Whats happening is the ESC is pulsing the throttle. Its a battery low voltage warning.
You can change the low voltage detect settings in the esc programming.

Been flying my DX6i with the Blade as well as my T-Rex for a while now. Not even one hiccup so far. Rock solid even at good distances.

Yes electric size 450 (Blet CP) When i flew the heli i had a full charge of battery for both heli and TX. The glitches started just 1 minute into flight. I will test today the range check and i will fly in a park. Then i will fly at home and post the results.
FYI i have a Scorpoin 45amp ESC. programed to reduce power to 50 percent when it reaches 3.2v

I just flew in a park with no glitches. I also did a range check and it passed. Later today i will try at home.

Everything posted since the end of December is flown with the DX6i. Only glitch was a failing servo.

I even flew once with my home cordless 2.4ghz phone tucked between my head and shoulder while I popped the Blade-400 up for a quick blade tracking test. It wan't till afterwards I got to thinking that maybe that wasn't such a great idea, but clearly the DX6i didn't seem to care..

Guys i am not trying to knock the DX6i. I picked it over Futaba after allot of research. I know what i saw. I am waiting for the wind to die down to fly in front of my house. I am a noobie and wind really messes me up. But you are right it could be a bad servo i will try a test today with the motor disconected in my home-office/Heli shop. :)

Spread Spectrum prevents devices from interfering with each other under most circomstances. They can even be on the same "frequency" and work fine. WiFi channels actually overlap each other.
The only way to get classic glitching is for a high powered 2.4 GHz Tx to swamp the Rx front end. And this would be very position dependant. It would happen if you hover THERE, but not even a few feet away.
You could be getting ESD (eletrostatic discharge) or other issues that will occur with any radio system.

Dood is right but not sure why its happening with a full charge. I paid close attentions and the pulse would make my tail move.

The pulse is a sudden drop in headspeed. That will jerk your tail.
Anyways, what kind of batteries are you using? crappy batteries (full charge or not) will do that to you.

Thanks Dood, yes i have one crapy battery the stock E-Sky. I am using it for now becouse i read if you crash and hit the battery you can mess it up. I have two new Air Thunder 2200 mAh11.1V. I guess I will start to using them. I dont want to crash becouse of a pulse.
