Fuel Tank Fitting

hi there,

i figured out that therer is a leak from my tempest.. anyway tried to unscrew the fittings but failed .. is there an easy way of doing that.. and shall i use silicone to seal the deal

I've used a long nosed, long handle set of hemostats to hold the inner nut, while turning the outer housing. It's an awkward situation no matter what.
Silicone is the answer to prevent leaks, just a dab smeared around should cure your problem.
