View Full Version : Charger Li Ion, NiCd, NiMh
Does anybody make a charger that has both ac/dc capability and charge NiCd and L-ion batteries.
Can you fast charge a Li-Ion battery
I have a Futaba 7C radio w/ NiCd and Duralite Li-ion rx packs. The stock charger for Futaba takes 15 hrs to charge NiCd and Duralite charger takes about 6 hrs for Li-ion.

The Swallow2 charger (http://www.takeoffandland.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=46_99&products_id=906&osCsid=3a850e59fd2fda62050f822d58f6a828)in Oz - I am sure it would be re-badged and setup for 110 AC in the US. Chargers that have AC operation are gonna have a very limited current output as decent PSU take up a lot of real estate.
All the good chargers like TP 1010 / e-station 902 and BC8 have LiIon and NiCd outputs as well as a host of
others
It should be possible to charge a LiIon at 1C (ie an hour) like Lipos
