I've decided to get a 3D foamy plank for some back yard fun - I'll be getting one of the Ikarus profilers - a Yak, or Edge or F3A.

But, I'm stuck for the best options for a good motor (money is not an issue, I don't mind paying out for good kit)

So far I've narrowed it to
1)Extreme Flight 'Torque' 34T/1520 - 29g
2) Axi 2204/34 - 26g
3)Axi 2208/34 - 45g powerful, but heaviest
4) Hacker A10-9L - 20g

I do want to keep the weight down if poss, I do want full on vertical climbs even toward the end of the pack
I plan to use a small 2S or 3S pack and it will be for outdoor use (so I can allow a little extra weight in practice)

Any views or alternative motor ideas will be most welcome - what I need to avoid is a model thats light weight but gutless and won't go vertical - or a rocket that is so heavy it won't be capable of the agility needed for 3D................
Thanks.....Rick

Micro motros or wind it yourself CD ROM motors. Fine tune to your exact needs. Also a forum to get data on the various winds.

Also look at the small Himax outrunners.
