Last time he posted here he said he was using multiple setups some with lower headspeed for increased runtime. The Vbar unit allows 4 different setups which can be switched between during flight. I have never seen a current setup from him.

It's bad ass... that's his setup. To awesome for me to be flying. I'd crash if my heli was that responsive.

My current setup is like Jr 8715 servos, V bar, V 600 tst and 105, emcotec mps regulator, running 5.9 volts on 2100 mAh 2s and 10s 5350 evolite. Some motor testing..
Vbar setup Tom Kreuzberger w/o pitchpump :D

Daniel,
Do you use those 5350 batts at competitions or just for fooling around? Do they last the abuse?

I need more long time duration testing but so far all is well :)

if im not mistaken the 8715's are the european version of the 8717 right? the real reason i asked was because i saw your video of you at IRCHA with the stick cam and i need that kinda power for the way i fly. my demos are with a T-rex 600 nitro right now and the flight time is great but i need more power to do what i want. my flights after about 5min i run out of things to do and start repeating, so the logo 600 with the right setup seems to be the way to go for 5min of pure power.
8715 are non-US 8717s without the red heatsink case. the 8915 is the heatsink version.

Daniel,
which flight times are realized with 10S-5350 EvoLite?
Thanks.

Remember these flighttimes refer to around 2100 headspeed or less not like 2400 +

That's interesting Dan. I'm only getting around 9 minutes from my setup. I'm running radix blades at 2100rpm with vbar. I only do sport flying.

hey dan, what motor are you running?

Actro 24-4 still
There's no "good" headspeed. Run what you like best :) You can already 3d with 1300.
The flighttimes 10-12 were just a guess

YOU can 3D with 1300 Headspeed Daniel, not everyone is a collective management master my friend.

wcc963,
I've seen some awesome 3D flyin', I mean pretty radical stuff, (more than most pilots can do), and tached the headspeed at an average of about 2150. The heli was using an Actro 24-4 on 10S 4350s. Just one example I can witness to. Take care, Dave.

Little bit lighter and a little less flighttime with the 4350. If you are wanting to fly longer and don't care about extra weight then go with the 5350. Each to their own, I like the lighter feel myself.

I fly EVO 4350, in retrospective I rather would have got the Evolite 5350, almost the same weight, for my flyingstyle it would have meant about 1.5min extra flying time.

well im gonna be doing hard 3D, and i want a good power to weight ratio but i also want a good solid flight time. so which one should i go with?

Deff get the evolie 5350's! Hardly noticeable on the weight with mad run time and a perfect fit!
If you don't have a good place to get them, our shops web site is not yet active but give me a pm and i'll take great care of you!
