Just wondering if anyone had any experience with the Align Carbon Fibre blades? There's a nice cheap website in Taiwan that has them and I was wondering if they are ok. I'm just at the stage of starting light aerobatics. Any comments appreciated.

If you can get them the 600"D" CF blades are the ones you would want to get. Or if you dont want the Align blades hunt down a set of Radix blades.

Thanks for the advice. I'll get some to try and I'll look out for the better ones.

Yes, from what I hear H60155 600D blades (http://www.ronlund.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=heli&Product_Code=H60155) are really nice.

Would go for the 600Ds rather than the 600Bs (they are a little light) as you illustrate (or you might find some cheap run out stock of the 600As). They fly really well and are only a little way behind Radixs and Vs and a fair bit cheaper.

Would Align 600d Glass Fibre be ok for simple flying with no 3D other than rolls, loops and flips?

Just don't leave them in the heat. I guy I flew with had his warp when leaving them in his car, even though the car didn't get that hot.

Has any1 flown both the Carbon Align 600A 's and also the D's, ive got a set of the A's and they fly really nice, very similar to Radix blades but a little less in the autorotation, i have also got a set ot TST V blades and i dont really see what all the fuss is about, they seem to load up and bog the head alot easier then the A's and Radix's, but i wanna try the D's but dont know if its worth spending £50 if they are not as good as the A's????

The Ds are the replacement for the As with a different weight anchoring system - they are the same size and fly the same. I agree about the Radix's - they seem a little heavier and wider chord than the ALigns so auto better but are quite similar. Dunno what's happenng with your Vs - I reckon they're the most effiicient blade and bog the least IMHO.

Thanks for the info.
I was expecting my TST V's to be really good, i tried them for the first time only today and they was just really bogging the heli, especially in 4 point tic tocs etc and i was really trying to use as little pitch and cyclic as poss and at 1 point i could almost count the blades turnin, took the heli back to the bench and fitted the Radix's from my mates 600n and the heli came alive again, wasn't bogging and i could give it alot more pitch and cyclic and thats how my A's perform aswell, i was really dissapointed, £80 down the drain, lol.
Have you flown the TST's or the smooth V,s???

Strange ! I've used both but preferred the smooth ! Maybe you got a bad pair !
