I have HS45s to mount, and I'm not thrilled with the idea of screwing into the carbon fiber frame. I'd prefer to drill tiny holes and use a nut. Has anyone done this successfully, and if so, what size screw, nut and drill did you use? Thanks!

to be honost, i've never heard of anybody having a problem with a servo screw coming loose, or causing any other kind of problems. i don't know of anyone who has done this mod, but i don't see it being that big of a deal to do. more weight though.

no need for this, the screws get tight enough.
but if you worried that much, you can use some thread lock or even ca.

I'm sensitive to the weight issue. My concern is stripping the carbon fiber.

when you do, then put a screw and nut:)
I used the screws no problem with the carbon frame. If you want to use screws and nut then you would need M2 size 6mm it is the same size thread as the screws that hold on the balde holders. Personnally wouldn't bother the frame holds the servo as well as the screws.

I agree they hold pretty well. I did have an issue with the elevator servo holes though. I guess they did not line up perfectly and caused the servo to bind when the screws were tightened. Opening the holes in the servo slightly solved the problem. I thought I had a bad servo as the binding caused the servo not to move at all.
