posted this in the trex 600 forum, and nobody had any numbers....

some people are running 3-4-5 blade rotorheads and one guy said it "took off like a rocket"

ok so we know it has more liftage..

but how about some numbers??

has anyone done it and know how much more weight they could carry and how flight times may be affected??

really interested in the trex 600's as that is what alot of people are using excep the rich people who have jokes, gassers etc...

thanks!!

All that extra rotating mass of blades and head usually equals more drag and higer amps. Some of the big turbines use 3 or 4 bladed heads, but they have power to spare. For smaller helis like ours, a two blade flybarless system would be a better choice.
More power and longer flight time. :)
