hey all.
i'm getting really frustrated with this little guy and throwing in the towel on trying to 'self-learn' this thing. i just cannot seem to get it to lift off the ground. i've double, triple, quadruple checked everything physically. and, i'm beginning to wonder if i dont know how to use my radio :o
i just bought a JR 9303 when i decided to get into helis 'cause i figured it'd be a good upgrade for the rest of my fleet--planks. i feel like ive followed along with century's 'guidelines' for setup as well as gone thru the JR book step by step for setting up a new model.
i feel like i've done a decent enough job with the programming--though i admit some of the mixing concepts are above me now. but, the little bird just will not get any lift.
specs:
AUW: 380g
stock hardware except for aluminum head and full sym woodies
Astro10 10T heli w/ 9T pinion (i know probably a little weak for a 380g airframe, but it should get off the ground, i'd think)
CC10
3xHS-55 servos
hummingboard running DD tail
GY401 gyro
stock 7cell nimh birdseed and/or 2s1p lipo (3s1p should arrive this week)
if anyone wants to try and help me out, i'd be eternally greatful. PM me for my ph#, or give me yours and i'll call on my dime. Or, if you live in the sacramento, ca area we can meet up and i'll buy us lunch.
i have a pretty high tolerance for tinkering/frustration. but, this is starting to wear me down. thanks.
