no bullet connectors, just some sort of needle type connectors.

i used a deans three prong connector
Mine had the pin type connector, But be very careful pushing them together I know some people have snap them! I found they actually went in one way better than the other

Me too, I like not having to connect three separate wires together. With the Micro Deans 3 pin connection you connect all three at once. Just have to make sure that you solder the wires onto the deans in the correct order so that when your done the motor actually works when you connect the ends together. So, just solder in a known good order.

I have snapped one of them before.... they are servo connectors, so I've cramped and soldered a new set with a male and female connector. Once I've made sure that the motor is turning in the right direction, I heat shrinked each wire at the connectors, which secures them but are removable if needed.. Haven't had any issues with that.

When you look at your rx, you see little needle like things that electronics are plugged into.... each stock motor wire for the gaui 200 is like a single servo connector... it does look like a needle.

No you don't need to solder anything on the gaui 200. The only thing that I've soldered, besides replacing the motor pin that I broke, is changing the stock JST esc to battery connectors to mini deans. But that is optional, I think most people run them with the stock jst, and I think most batteries comes with those jst connectors as well, so you're all set without having to solder anything.

Awesome thank-you very much for the info.
Can't wait for that brown truck to be here (tuesday!) :)
I left the standard plug on the ESC as my Imax B5 charger has the correct lead to charge. Thats the one thing you should invest in a good charger!!!

Which Deans connector did you use? Do you have a link?
