My DX7 and 600N is it normal to have such strange curves since its a 120 set up, flies great plently of pitch neg and pos just looks weird.
huh?
What do you mean by "looks wierd"?
If it isnt a straight line (although some guys put a S-curve in the middle) your mechanics arent set up properly, and you need to rebuild that helicopter.
On every single one of my helicopters, my pitch curve is 0-50-100, regardless of flight modes.
the 50 in the center, is ALWAYS at 0 degrees pitch. Thats what yours should be. That indicates a proper mechanical/electrical setup.
I use 3 points on a pitch curve. All in between points are set to INH.

sorry I was talking throttle, I have pitch like the freaks videos, I am having trouble matching pitch to throttle, it seems like perfect once then next time I gotta screw with it
since the weather is so different from day to day I will have to , Im running rich I know.
Just have to get time to dial the engine in correctly. Thanks

one thing I don't have perfect is the throttle set up, I dont have 100- and 100+
I could not get it set up with the arm etc, I have full throw from cut throttle to fully open and I use the throttle trim for idle, I hope that won't mess up my align gov when I go to set it up
Got any hints on that one Dood..?

First thing first,
delete your throttle curve for normal mode and start over and center the stick (50 in 50 out), OR, set up a new curve for 50% all the way across. Reset your end points to 100-100.
get your servo horn and the carb arm parallel with each other.
Loosen the horn on the carb arm, and get your carb open to 50% (indicated by the little tick mark on the carb body. Tighten it back down.
The pic I posted shows the throttle at 50% both IN THE RADIO, and mechanically as indicated on the carb body.
Next, adjust the linkage so that it equals the distance between the center of the servo output shaft to the center of the carb arm. Adjust which hole you go into on each arm, so that you'll get maximum throw with endpoints at or near 100.

I will redo tomorrow, that makes perfect sense, I think I started with that but ended up
somehow different. If I set it up this way then adjust the travel to not bind on open or closed
I can still use trim for idle and have a smoother flow. Im on it tomorrow. Thanks again
why dont you just drive over and finish this thing off nobody around me is a heli nut
just planes, which I like but they are just not heli's.

Redid the throttle 100 and 100 no bind, works great I got in five flights just circles etc.
I cannot get the gov to work correctly I flip it on on the aux switch, set it to flight mode 2
curve is 0-25-50-75-100, light is green it spools up real fast starts shaking, I lowered it
to 80% same, 60% same. I wish I would of got the Multi gov and display, I really need a tach
I'll ask my LHS who has one around me. Thanks for the throttle tip, it is smooth
from the ground to 90-100 feet straight up what a good feeling.

HEY DOOD, on to the align gov, I am not putting in the negitive percentage in the rate
setup in flight mode. I have aux2 turning gov on and off ok, I started with 80% on + side of rate and negative side at zero, with the DX7 and align gov do I need it to read +80 to the right of the word Rate, and -80 below? I wonder if this is my gov problem now that I have 100 and 100
on travel and 0-25-50-75-100 on curve.
I'm definitely not the guy guy to ask in regards to setting up a gov.
