I'm just starting my build, and I thought I'd check the electrics first before mounting them on the heli. I figured I could bind the receiver now, too. My stuff: DX7, AR6100, HS45s, Logictech 2100/3100 gyro/servo. (Jargon! Two months ago that sentence would have mystified me!)

1) Can I use the lipo battery for test power? Motor is not connected.
2) Battery plugs into the ESC, which plugs into the receiver where?
3) Gyro plugs into Rudd, I assume. Where does the gyro gain sensor plug into?
4) The bind plug goes into Batt, right? Which must mean the ESC plugs elsewhere.
5) Where do the three power leads plug into the motor?

Your experienced advice welcome! Thank you VERY MUCH.

Yes, you can use your lipo. The ESC I believe plugs into THR on your rx, thats what it is on my ar6000 rx. The gain or sense wire plugs into the signal pin on the GER channel. You are correct about the bind adapter. As for the esc to motor wire connection you just have to plug them in, if it doesn't work right, switch two of the wires and try again. Be very careful with the motor wire pins, they are quite easy to snap.
