HDX450 High Headspeed Modified

Here are some pics of my HDX450. I used to run 4 cell with a 10T at 80% on my 28-40 3400 giving around 3300 rpm. I recently tamed it down to a 3 cell with a 13 tooth at 100% but it used to be rediculus...now it flies like it should. I have the BEC under my ESC because with 4 cell you need to run an external. I have changed the front around to hold the battery nicer and make the frame stiffer. I opted to use a TREX V2 maingear with a custom fabricated spacer to make its height right. Running to a stock Trex V2 head. Its got the magic blue tailboom and a microheli tail and tail fin. Also has exteneded tailboom support struts with a cross brace to make the tail firmer. Its got an align canopy because it matches my trex 600 canopy.

Only had about 4 flights on the kong power 3 cell so far. Seems to put out about the same power as the equivilent thunder power battery however is cheaper and has protection against discharge. The pack is slightly bigger weighs a little more however not enough for it to change any flight characteristics.

So far I am liking the kong power batteries.
