Don't know if any of you DX7 users have sen the above thread in the radio section...
The DX7 gimbles only use 1 bearing on each axis....and a brass bushing on one end.
You can buy bearings to replace the bushings and it makes the gimbles much smoother and wont wear out the plastic end that rubs in the bushing....they are standard bearings used on GWS 400 gearboxes and Redi heli sells the set

Took me about an hour to do...and didn't have to dissconnect any wires...just take off screws and a few pots...
Real happy with the outcome...
