Trex 600N build question

Hi guys,

I'm building my first heli and have a couple of questions;

1. To help protect the gyro (401) would it be ok to mount it at the front on top of the rudder and throttle servos?

2. I bought a 3 way fuel filter and inside it has just a metal mesh. Should I also put some gauze inside too or is the mesh good enough?

1. I tried the 401 up front but the servos caused the gyro to move a lot. I would suggest that you put it in the back of the heli.
2. There is no need for gauze in the filter. Just makesure you take the fuel filter apart every now and then and clean the screen.
