Truely awesome machine! To me the price is a little outrageous unless its fully autonomous.

Kinda pricey, That's nothing more than a modified version of the Vario turbine XLV. It looks like the same head mechanics and the 8-foot rotor disk is the same. The fact that they only use 2-blades on the tail rotor tells me that they have not tried lifting a lot of weight. vario makes some nice birds, thats for sure.

What's with the vibration in the video? I would have thought that would be one of the first things they should have eliminated before putting sample footage on the web from such an expensive machine

It's gonna be tough, but I think I'll pass at $40,000:roll:

40g huh. I am no expert but my guess on pricing

Helicopter - $2k
Turbine - $10k
Electronics - $1k
Camera system - $10k
You are a sucker for buying because there is no information on the camera system, turbine, helicopter, electronics seller etc. - $17k

and quoted capacity at 15lbs...no thanks, I'll go with a Bergen Industrial Turbine. At least I know it's good for the 25lb payload it's quoted for. Fair bit less expensive, too.
