I got my Blade 400 about 2 weeks ago and finally got the chance to take it out yesterday (we have about 4 feet of snow on the ground up here), the indoor area my local club flies in is pretty spacious and there was a bunch of guys flying foamies at the far end of the arena so I decide to spool up in my own little area far from everyone, right from the get go I felt something wasnt right, not only was my heli drifting to the left just as it should, but whenever I tried to correct this and start my lift off the machine would pitch forward pretty hard and just be to dificult to control, at this point my "guru" came over and asked if he could try, he managed to lift about 12 inches from the ground before aborting the flight and telling me somethings "broken", after a quick investigation we found the forward servo (the one under the battery) was sticking and the swash plate wasnt getting the right input which quickly put a damper on my first day out :arggg: before going to the arena I did the preflight check and everything seemed ok, just goes to show how Murphy's law will do it every time, I've already changed out the servo compliments of my LHS and am now sitting here twiddling my thumbs (on my sim) waiting for next sunday.
