if the 7c uses the same battery as the 9c, my 9chps uses this battery...

I just use a battery case for dry cells and my choice of NiMh AA cells. Currently a set of 2400mAh cells gives ca. 8 hours running time on the 7C FASST.

I'm not sure where to get it; it came with the radio. Looks like a Futaba part since it's moulded to fit the battery compartment exactly (there are some guides not shown in the picture). I assume it's avaiable in hobby shops somewhere...
