My o-rings used to hold the battery down on my L500 are getting a little worn and I'd like to replace them. Is MIK3055 (60mm) the right part number?

velcro straps are easier and last alot longer.

That is the correct part number Bruce.

Thanks Jeremy, I'm placing an order tomorrow for a few parts that are starting to show signs of wear. So far after ~80 flights I'm starting to see MIK1965 (angled links) and MIK965 (big flybar links) getting a little loose.

If you goto a Hydraulic shop or farm implement you can buy by bulks much cheaper as well you can also buy ones that are abit thicker and a tad more supple and easier to work with. Take in a good one and you can get some new ones matched up easy.

There is a specialty tool shop just down the street from my work which may have something like these. I'll take a look tomorrow.

The thought crossed my mind once, but I didn't entertain it long. I should check with the farm guys around here and see what they have.

I found the Logo 14 O rubbers handy for the higher packs on the 500 as they are a bit longer Part#: MIK3068 and on the lower packs you can hook them over two of the hooks and spread em

Well, I had to buy some other parts that were wearing out and got the MIK3055 rings but one of them had a slight nick in it right out of the package (2x for $5) :(
Today I went to the specialty tool shop and bought 4 for $3.5. While they weren't metric size they were very close (2.362" x 0.140" = 60mm x 3.55mm) and the Mikado o-rings are 60mm x 3.5mm.
Personally I like using the o-rings better than the straps because the canopy fits better.
