Hi all
I just bought a 3d elite hummer today and was wondering what MaH batteries people are using in theirs, and what kind of flight times they are getting as well.
Also, being a newby, which micro gyro would you recommend, good points and bad please.
Guy at my store said that a 1500Mah suited the heli well, but would prob only give a 12 min flight. I know a guy over the net that can do me good deals on 2200mah, so am kinda leaning that way.
Any opinions are appreciated as I like to make an informed decision.
Thanks

Weight is a primary concideration on these micr helies.
I use a 1300 TP pack for 8-10 min of flying.
The 2200 may be to heavy to fly well.
The 1500 is pushing it for weight.
I know of some that have even gone to 840ma packs to help the weight.

My 3D pro has a 401 gyro with hs50 servo.

Wow, I knew it would make a difference with weight, but not that much. Im not going to be doing 3d with it for some time, so Im after longer slow and steady flight times for now, just to get the hand of CP before I do any silly stuff

Well I got my Thunder Power Pro Lite packs, 3 cell 2000Mah. 120gm which I think is hell light for a pack this size. Crashed it before I could drain even one battery lol, so I cant tell anyone flight times Ive gotten. Report later on when I get a new main tail gear. I also went with a JR g410T and this has been placed on Centuries rear gyro mount. Ballance is perfect. :D

I have a duralite 1600mah in mine. It gets about 20 min flights. 401 is the way to go.

For me, i tried Kokam 2000 Mha and Thunder Power 2100Mha. It's very too heavy in weight. I had a crash because of that. So, maximum, i think is 1320 Mha or 1500Mha. Check the weight of pack before buy.

I use a 401 me too. It's great for this heli...
