View Full Version : JRx9303 - Forward Elevator - Rotate Swash?

Ok.. I am not sure if this is wrong or right. I am flying My JR GSR successfully at the moment, except that in my X9303 I have to reverse my pitch/cyclic curves.. Reason is the GSR has a forward elevator linkage.. which ends up making the swash be "reversed" or rotated 180 degrees.

In the swash setup of the x9303, there is no setting to rotate the swash setting. So to get the heli cyclic to act correctly I have to flip my curve so low is high and high is low...

Is this normal? I really don't see any other way around it.
Is there something I am missing? I do know some radios alow you to set say 120 deg swash and also rotate the swash... not on the X9303 though..

Seems weird to have to set my pitch/cyclic backwards, but ok.. because it works.

I hope someone can or cannot enlightmen me! My Trex 600 and trex 450 all have the elevator in the rear, so things seem normal, but this elevator in the front really through me for a loop when I was first setting up my swash. The swash is technically backwards!?

Thanks for any input.

Hi vrwired,

I am not sure, but its worth a shot.

After you selected the correct swash plate, move you stick up and down, (use a correct pitch curve)
At this point one or two servo's will go the wrong way, but in you case all 3.

Now go to REV,SW menu
There you can select witch servo workes incorrect en revese it!!

I hope this helps

PS: in also shows a function to reverse all servo's

You set to the proper swash type (number of servos and offset).

Move collective up and down, reverse the odd servo.

Go to Swash Menu and use THAT to make the swash go in the correct direction. To reverse, change from + to - or - to +. So +60 goes to -60 and the function will work the other direction.
