I have an RD6000 Super which I got with a heli combo a while back. The heli I got was junk but I still have the Tx. I am trying to decide between a T-Rex and a Blade 400. There are other threads compairing the two so this thread is not exactly about that. The biggest reason I was looking at an ARF is because I already have a Tx. Since the Blade comes with a Tx I feel like I am wasting a perfectly good radio, thus the reason I was going to build the T-Rex. So to make a long story short is the RD6000 a decent radio or will I build up this T-Rex only to find that the next purchase I will want to make is a new radio? If this is the case then mabe the better purchase is to get the Blade with the DX6i and then fix the blades flaws such as gyro and servos.

Bullfrog,
The RD6000 is well suited to the Trex heli.
Take a look further down in this category.
Check out some of the Airtronics RD8000 and RD8000 threads.
I've responded to several concerning the Airtronics Radios.
You could also use the "search " tool bar at the top to help you find more info about Airtronics radios
I hope this will be of some help.

RD6000 is probably the best radio for the $$$. Pick up somebody's Futaba some time and you will wonder how they hold that brick for more than a few minutes. The RD6000 is a light weight radio...but built very well. It has all the bells and whistles you need to fly a heli... the menu is very easy to understand and it will do both planks and helis.
I have the original RD6000... before the Sport... and it has been a very dependable radio.
